Latin America

​Geopolitically, Latin America is often overshadowed by the major world powers, but it is increasingly gaining strategic importance – for example, through its natural resources, biodiversity, and role in global climate protection. At the same time, the region continues to grapple with political instability, social inequality, and recurring democratic crises. Caught between new alliances and old dependencies, it is searching for a more assertive voice on the world stage.
